Tasks
- Develop and implement security measures for Azure Cloud.
- Identify and assess cyber security risks in cloud platforms.
- Create and maintain cloud security concepts and guidelines., As a (Senior) Cloud Security Engineer, you are part of our Cloud Platform team and responsible for the secure use and further development of our Azure Cloud platform. You develop security architectures and implement security measures. Our central Cyber Security team supports you in this. Your tasks include:
- Engineering and implementation of security requirements in our cloud environment considering best practices
- Identification and assessment of cyber security risks for our cloud platform
- Definition and implementation of preventive measures to prevent cyber security risks
- Support of cloud projects and line initiatives: determining protection requirements and designing security concepts
- Creation and continuation of concepts and guidelines regarding cloud security

Requirements
- Master's in Cyber Security or related field with certifications.
- Experience in cloud security and offensive security roles.
- Strong communication skills in German and English., We are looking for a communicative, team-oriented, and analytical personality with a can-do mentality who is not afraid of complex contexts and shares our passion for an agile working environment. You have a quick grasp, willingness to cooperate, and great motivation to work on new topics. In addition, you bring the following:
- Master's degree in Cyber Security or Computer Science with further training/certifications in the field of Cyber Security as well as Microsoft Azure Platform
- Several years of experience in cyber security roles with a focus on cloud security
- Experience in offensive security (security auditing, pentesting, CTF... etc.)
- Knowledge in hyperscaler technologies, especially with Azure and the associated SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and security services
- Knowledge in infrastructure automation and infrastructure as code (e.g., Git, Terraform), CI/CD pipelines (Github, Github Actions, Azure DevOps), IAM as well as AKS
- Knowledge in cyber security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO / IEC 270xx series, NIST)
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
