Job description

  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded software solutions for motion and power control systems using Embedded C.
  • Work on motor control systems, including both asynchronous motors (0.3-30KW) and synchronous motors (0.3-30KW).
  • Implement and optimise control algorithms, such as FU control regulation and Vector regulation, to ensure precise motor performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software and hardware components, ensuring system reliability and performance.
  • Analyse system behaviour and identify optimisation opportunities for motor control efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex software and hardware issues.
  • Prepare technical documentation and provide support for system testing, validation, and deployment.
  • Travel to client sites and project locations (up to 10 weeks annually) to support system integration, testing, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

I am seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Embedded C Developer with a strong background in motion control, power control, and motor control technologies. The ideal candidate will have significant hands-on experience working with both asynchronous and synchronous motors in the 0.3-30KW range, as well as expertise in advanced motor control techniques, including FU control regulation and Vector regulation., * Minimum of 7 years of experience in embedded software development using C.

  • Strong experience in motion control and power control systems, with practical knowledge of motor control technologies.
  • Proven experience working with asynchronous motors and synchronous motors in the 0.3-30KW range.
  • Deep understanding of FU control regulation and Vector regulation techniques.
  • Familiarity with embedded system hardware and communication protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent level of German and a minimum of B2 English
