Lead Technical Architect - 6 months Contract - Inside

We are seeking an experienced Lead Technical Architect to join a major public sector programme. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, ensuring robust architecture design and integration across complex systems., * Define and maintain the technical architecture for large-scale public sector projects.

• Lead integration strategies for COTS packages and bespoke solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and GDS standards.
• Provide guidance on Azure architecture best practices and cloud adoption.
• Oversee technical governance and ensure compliance with security and accessibility standards.

• Proven experience as a Lead Technical Architect in large-scale programmes.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure architecture and services.
• Expertise in systems integration and COTS package implementation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Public sector experience (GDS standards preferred).

Desirable

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with API management and microservices architecture.
