Senior Delivery Manager (Oracle ERP) - Central Government - £600pd Inside - SC Cleared

A central government department is seeking an SC Cleared Senior Delivery Manager to lead delivery for its global Oracle-based ERP platform. This role requires an experienced leader who can manage multi-disciplinary teams, oversee finance related product delivery, and ensure high-quality service operation across a complex, fast-moving portfolio.

You will lead the Finance ERP Delivery Team (5 functional consultants) and the Testing Team (3 to 4 testers), ensuring continuous improvement, evergreen updates, and timely delivery of finance data, reporting, integrations, and functional changes. The role requires strong delivery leadership, stakeholder management, and experience managing ERP functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver the prioritised Finance ERP product backlog and evergreen schedule.
• Lead and develop the ERP team (5 functional consultants) and Testing team (3-4 testers).
• Maintain Agile/Kanban delivery boards, release plans and delivery cadence.
• Run stand-ups and cross-team ceremonies to maintain alignment and momentum.
• Oversee testing strategy, planning, release readiness and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Product Managers on roadmaps and priorities.
• Represent Delivery at Design Authority and Change & Release Boards.
• Conduct delivery impact assessments and manage cross-functional dependencies.
• Work closely with the Run Partner on commercial, delivery and performance matters.
• Drive continual service improvement, effectiveness measurement, and customer satisfaction.
• Motivate teams through periods of change and maintain a positive delivery culture.

• Proven experience as a Senior Delivery Manager within ERP environments (Oracle experience strongly preferred).
• Background managing ERP functional consultants and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of finance processes, reporting, integrations and data flows.
• Experience overseeing testing/VVTE functions in a fast-paced delivery environment.
• Skilled in Agile and Lean delivery methods, with experience running Kanban-based pipelines.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Comfortable managing change, ambiguity, and complex delivery landscapes in government.
