RPx Generalist - Security Engineer

Please note that this is a permanent position, and we do not offer freelance or contract arrangements for this role.

• Install, support and maintain Reverse proxies, forward proxies and Web application firewalls.
• Participate in Projects related to security and business on the Euroclear roadmap.
• Resolve incidents related to security products and solution in place.
• Participate in the automation process and continuous improvement process.
• When onboarded, participate in the Watch Duty pool. (24/7/ on a rotating basis

Hard Skills and Technical skills (Mandatory ones)

• Knowledge of Linux/Unix - System Admin Engineer (RedHat) profile as a basis
• Network basics (Network Admin) / Understanding the 7 layers of the OSI model.
• Reverse Proxies knowledge (e.g. Apache HTTPD)
• Knowledge and working experience on SSL/TLS integration
• PKI Basics knowledge

Nice to Have

• Scripting and Automation experience
• Knowledge of Authentication technologies. (SAML/AUTH/…)
• Ansible experience

Assets:

• Agile, Scrum, Devops methodologies knowledge or experience are assets
• Azure Clouds WAF and Cloudflare are assets
• Development: Python (other languages are an asset)

About the Tribe The Platform Security Tribe provides engineering (platform and process) and operational support services to guarantee business continuity and availability of platforms, devices and appliances providing security services. We install and support systems securing the communication between Euroclear and its customers while also protecting Euroclear assets against Malware by Monitoring & Protecting the incoming, outgoing and internal traffic of data in the company. We act as the last line of defence for the organisation and run PKI and certificate management services.
