Our growth is driving us to strengthen our Container team to support the development and stability of our core orchestration services. Your mission will be to design, develop, and maintain our two critical projects: Kapsule (Managed Kubernetes) and Container Registry in order to deliver high-performance, production-ready container solutions to our global customers. You will be part of a team of 6 people focused on the "GKE/AKS" equivalent of the Scaleway ecosystem. The team operates in a remote-friendly organization (Paris, Toulouse, Rennes) where trust and autonomy are the foundations of our management style. Manager information: Benoit Créau YOUR DAILY ROUTINE Design, develop, and enable new features for Kapsule (Managed Kubernetes) and Container Registry. Manage day-to-day maintenance and infrastructure stability for both products. Ensure feature delivery according to the product roadmap. Take ownership of production issues and technical support, interacting directly with customers to provide expert advice. Collaborate with other engineering teams to express and coordinate development needs. Draft and maintain high-quality internal and external technical documentation. Participate in daily stand-ups and regular synchronization points with the Product Manager. Go "behind the scenes" of Kubernetes to understand and optimize the product's core mechanics. Contribute to the CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployments. Engage with the open-source ecosystem to stay at the forefront of cloud-native standards., Interview with Benoit, the Manager, to understand your technical skills and approach to the role (1h). Technical Interview with the whole team to validate your expertise and problem-solving skills (1h). Team Fit Discussion to deepen discussions and assess your fit with the team's culture (45 min). Requirements
Do you have experience in Software development?, HARDSKILLS: Go (Golang): Strong proficiency in software development Kubernetes: Deep understanding of how Kubernetes is built and functions (not just as a user). Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA): Highly preferred or equivalent expertise. Infrastructure & DevOps: Solid experience with Linux, Grafana, Prometheus, and GitLab-CI. SOFT SKILLS: Communication: Ability to share ideas clearly within a distributed team. Autonomy: Capable of working independently without micro-management. Team Spirit: Collaborative mindset and a willingness to participate in a "trust-based" culture. Curiosity: A "tinkerer" mindset with a passion for understanding how things work under the hood.
