This is an exciting secondment opportunity for an internal candidate to be part of the launch of our brand-new, state-of-the-art warehouse in Birmingham, equipped with advanced automation and cutting-edge robotics.
This role supports the implementation of the Network Design Transformation change programme, working collaboratively with senior stakeholders to embed the end-state solution. You will champion the People Agenda through Talent Acquisition, onboarding, induction and training, while promoting Active Learning and Active Leading. This means applying new knowledge to improve our business, fostering a growth mindset, empowering team members, and driving innovation to build Cencora's future. Clear and effective communication is essential to engage stakeholders and enable smooth transition.
Job Scale:
To support the implementation of the change programme. Working collaboratively with all stakeholders in order to implement the end-state solution. To support the people agenda in Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, induction and training. Communicate and engage clearly with all stakeholders throughout the process to enable them to operate efficiently and effectively through the transition., * Support the implementation of the Network Design Transformation programme, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.
- Provide core support to the recruitment, onboarding, induction and training activities. Support the people workstream in delivering the key people milestones.
- Work with all workstreams to ensure focus on implementation and operations is maintained from the outset.
- Support the recruitment lifecycle including assessment centres and induction intakes.
- Act as a point of contact answering questions and providing a source of answers and further understanding.
- Collaborate with team leaders to ensure smooth communication and efficient issue resolution.
- Work closely with management team members to drive efficiencies across the CLC, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Governance
- Ensure all Governance documentation is updated and workstreams are updated accordingly.
Training and Development
- Support the Implementation Team to deliver engagement, training and implementation.
- Promote Active Learning by applying new knowledge to improve processes, foster a growth mindset, and enable individual and organisational success.
Health and Safety and ESG
- Champion and lead the Health and Safety culture which ensures safe processes, procedures and behaviours as well as continuous improvement through best practice activities in accordance with the SOP's.
- Commit to advancing our ESG initiatives to create healthier futures around the world.
- Ensure a culture of being safe, legal and compliant., Some UK travel required, with overnight stays and attendance at meetings or conventions outside of normal business hours, including some evenings and weekends.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Microsoft Office?, * Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment.
- Experience in a high-volume warehouse.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across multiple functional departments.
- Experience / willingness to co-facilitate / run workshops.
- Strong target focus with self-motivation to drive improvements
- Experienced with competency interviewing techniques (desirable)
- Previous experience of running assessment centres (desirable)
Essential Requirements:
- Sound knowledge of Recruitment and Selection practices and procedures at all levels
- Highly organised, able to manage stress and set priorities for yourself.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment, including standing and walking for extended periods.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures within the warehouse environment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 to enable the jobholder to be self-supporting with administrative and reporting tasks
