Job description

  • Entering survey data into Excel accurately and consistently
  • Checking measurements and technical details for completeness
  • Ensuring data is clearly structured and ready for CAD drawings
  • Working closely with the Technical Drawing Team to answer data queries
  • Keeping technical records organised and up to date
  • Learning how technical data is translated into CAD drawings, * Full training provided

Working Arrangements

Requirements

Do you have experience in Microsoft Excel?, This is an ideal opportunity for a graduate or junior candidate looking to begin a career in a technical or design led environment.

As a Junior Technical Data Administrator, you'll support our Technical Drawing Team by accurately transferring survey data from our Sales Surveyors into Excel spreadsheets. These spreadsheets are then used by the Technical Team to create CAD drawings for manufacture and installation.

No prior CAD experience is required, we are looking for candidates with a strong attention to detail, good Excel skills, and a willingness to learn., Essential:

  • Good Excel skills (or strong confidence learning Excel)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Logical, methodical approach to working with data and measurements
  • Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills

Desirable (not essential):

  • A relevant degree or college qualification (e.g. design, engineering, construction, maths, IT)
  • Interest in CAD, technical drawings, or design software
