Data Test Automation Engineer

What you'll be doing:

• Developing and maintaining test automation frameworks for back-end data platforms
• Collaborating with engineers and analysts to define acceptance criteria and test scenarios
• Creating automated tests to validate features and identify defects
• Documenting test plans and results clearly and effectively
• Supporting root cause analysis and providing feedback to development teams
• Participating in code reviews and ensuring compliance with group standards
• Identifying opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in test automation
• Embedding fairness and value in our data applications for all customers

Do you have experience in Test automation?, * Demonstrating experience in testing back-end data solutions, including data streaming

• Applying strong Python and SQL skills in test automation
• Building tests within CI/CD pipelines and using version control tools like Git
• Communicating technical concepts clearly across cross-functional teams
• Working effectively in Agile environments
• Understanding data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake) and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Docker)
• Showing knowledge of shell scripting and serverless technologies (e.g. Lambda, Step Functions)
• Holding a relevant degree or equivalent experience in data engineering or software testing
