Senior Solutions Architect

Job Title: Senior Solution Architect Location: Malaga, Spain - Hybrid: 1 Day to Office Every Week Duration: Permanenet Employment Type: Full-Time Languages: English & Spanish (Nice to Have) Roles & Responsibilities: We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect with strong AWS Cloud expertise to design and guide enterprise-scale cloud solutions. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, defining cloud architecture, patterns, and best practices across the organization. What You'll Do * Design secure, scalable and cost-effective AWS cloud architectures * Define cloud patterns, standards and best practices * Lead architecture reviews, product evaluations, and Proofs of Concept * Guide teams on cloud-native, microservices and event-driven designs * Support cloud migration and modernization strategies * Work closely with business and engineering teams to align solutions with strategy What You Bring * 5+ years in Cloud / Solution Architecture * Strong hands-on experience with AWS * Experience designing enterprise and distributed systems * Knowledge of microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures * Experience with containers (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift) * Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills * Fluent English (Spanish is a plus) Nice to Have * AWS Solution Architect Certification * Terraform, AWS CDK or CloudFormation * Event-driven platforms (SNS, SQS, EventBridge, Kafka) * Domain-Driven Design (DDD) * CI/CD & DevOps practices
