IT Engineer WAO

REWE digital Spain is located in the Technological Park of Andalusia (PTA) in Malaga. As a team of 60 colleagues, we drive innovation for REWE digital in Germany. Working closely with the team in Cologne, you will be responsible for the scheduling of workflows with our central Scheduler to ensure efficient and reliable processes for our business applications. We are looking for an IT Engineer to support the modernisation of our Workflow Landscape by creating, implementing, and maintaining innovative technical solutions. Someone who administers Workflow Orchestration solutions to provide the basis for Automation and Self-Service. What you will do:

• Workflow Platform Administration: Implement, Manage and maintain workflow Automation with Control-M, ensuring efficient automation of complex business processes and seamless orchestration of tasks across systems.

• Shell Scripting or Programming Language: Use shell scripting or Python to automate routine tasks and processes, improving operational efficiency and reducing errors. Key Skills

• Automation: Experience with automating workflow with Control-M.

• Linux: Basic command over Linux systems What you will bring:

• Degree in Computer Science or related field

• Excellent problem-solving skills and eager to learn and explore new skills

• Knowledge of general concepts of Automation

• Complete fluency in written and spoken English

• You live in Spain, and you have a valid work permit/VISA (without sponsorship) Nice to have:

• Experience with DevOps skills.
