About the Team
You'll report to the Director of Solutions Architecture and will work closely with product, engineering, marketing, and partner teams. This is a highly cross-functional role where you'll serve as the technical bridge between prospects evaluating our platform, customers deploying it, and partners extending our reach.
About the Role
You'll play a key role in helping prospective and existing customers understand how Harmonic can address their unique challenges.
Your days will be a mix of engaging with prospects and existing clients to demonstrate the capabilities of our product through technical storytelling, building proof of value (POV) plans, and executing them smoothly and successfully. Our Solutions Architects are experts in bridging the gap between the customer and our product and engineering teams, ensuring that real-world customer requirements are clearly understood, helping to drive the evolution of our product.
Success in this role means building strong relationships with customers, guiding them through their AI adoption journey, and ensuring they feel confident and empowered to use Harmonic's solution to its fullest potential.
What You'll Do
- Responsible and accountable for all pre-sale technical activities
- Collaborate closely with customers to create and execute tailored POCs that highlight how Harmonic simplifies data protection for the GenAI era
- Work as part of the EMEA/DACH sales team to close new business opportunities and support existing customers through the lifetime of their contracts
- Work closely with product and marketing to turn deep technical insights into compelling content and messaging
- Stay on top of the competitive landscape to help shape our story and spotlight what makes Harmonic stand out, * Flourish in the Unknown: We relish being thrown into new, unfamiliar situations that require initiative and rapid decision-making. Requirements

A proven track record in a solutions engineering or presales engineering role. Experience in customer-facing post-sales roles such as technical customer engineering or technical account management, or in security, is a plus

Hands-on experience and a deep understanding of deploying and managing software in enterprise environments, as well as working with MDM solutions such as Intune, JAMF, and Kandji

Comfort operating in ambiguity, confidently using new tools and environments, and troubleshooting live issues under pressure

A hands-on, team-first mindset, quick to step up for new challenges and support others

Scripting experience (Python, shell, PowerShell, etc.)

Proactive ownership, delivering the best customer outcomes with little guidance

A self-starter attitude, driven to research, investigate, and learn independently to solve problems
