Job description
As a Software Engineer in our client service, data, and BI team within Asset and Wealth Management, you will execute creative software solutions and contribute to a culture of innovation and inclusion. You will develop secure, high-quality code, collaborate with stakeholders, and help evolve the use of AI in software development and automation. Your role will involve solving complex problems, supporting team growth, and driving positive outcomes for our users., * Execute creative software solutions, including design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
- Develop secure, high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others.
- Evolve and apply AI in software development and automation.
- Contribute to a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
- Deliver system design, application development, testing, and ensure operational stability.
- Demonstrate proficiency in backend and frontend development.
- Apply SQL expertise to support application needs.
- Show initiative in daily tasks and projects.
- Work directly with stakeholders to understand and address requirements.
- Act as a problem solver, addressing challenges efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Professional experience in software development or related fields.
- Skills in at least a few of the following: Java, React/JavaScript, SQL, and messaging technologies such as Kafka or similar platforms.
- Practical experience with cloud technologies and environments such as AWS.
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with advanced applied experience.
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods.
- Expertise in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of deployment processes, including experience with GIT and version control systems.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Understanding of observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or Grafana.
- Experience with GraphQL.
- Experience with Snowflake or Databricks.
