Senior Backend Engineer I - Account Details Core

Product Managers, Analysts and Customer Support to create powerful, scalable solutions for millions of customers. We're looking for an engineer with relevant experience who can analyse complex requirements and deliver simple solutions to help our teams achieve our mission with speed and confidence. What will you be working on? We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who will help build our Receive platform within the Account Details Core team. You will work closely Product, Engineering and Analytics to design and build features and products while limiting risk and ensuring that we are scaling our operations to support millions of customers across the world. You will work on expanding and scaling the account details platform to add support for more currencies and enhance payment processing for bank transfers. Qualifications Strong product mindset with a passion for user experience; driven by customer needs and data-informed decisions. Excellent communicator, able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Independent and proactive, while being a supportive and collaborative team player. Skilled at breaking down complex projects into clear, incremental milestones that deliver customer value. Hands-on experience developing web applications and distributed systems in production environments. Strong understanding of design and architectural patterns; committed to writing clean, performant, and well-tested code Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including query optimization and schema design. Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and messaging systems such as Kafka. Additional Information Interested?
