Senior Software Engineer - 6 months - Hybrid - Manchester

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join a high-performing Digital Engineering team, working on the design and delivery of modern, scalable software solutions for enterprise clients., * Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions

• Build scalable, robust APIs and microservices using modern engineering practices
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical best practices
• Work closely with product owners, stakeholders, and customers to deliver real business value
• Champion engineering excellence including TDD, CI/CD, code reviews, and automation
• Mentor and coach junior engineers where required
• Take ownership of solutions from concept through to production

• Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot), Golang, or other server-side languages
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks such as React
• Hands-on experience with TDD, Pair Programming, CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews
• Experience working with Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong understanding of microservices architectures, RESTful APIs, and event-driven systems
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Knowledge of automated testing tools such as Postman, Selenium, or JMeter
• Experience working in a true Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid)
