Job description
We're looking for a passionate and multi-skilled Web Designer & Developer to join our team to work on-site at our Dawlish studio. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes web design, has strong technical instincts, and enjoys being the go-to person for all things web., * Experience in full ecommerce website builds on both WooCommerce and Shopify
- Manage and update WordPress themes and plugins in a staging environment before pushing to the love site
- Maintain WordPress security, apply vulnerability patches, and troubleshoot issues
- Manage and configure cPanel accounts, including general server settings
- Set up, monitor, and support IMAP email accounts
- Manage multiple client websites and accounts, ensuring timelines and quality expectations are met
- Assist with technical support, website updates, and server-side fixes when needed
- Support the broader team with creative input and technical solutions, * A 4-day work week (32 hours per week)

Requirements
Do you have experience in WordPress?, You'll be designing and building websites from scratch, primarily in WordPress or Shopify, while also managing hosting environments, domain setups, email accounts, and ongoing client support. You should be confident, detail-oriented, and highly adaptable.
A strong portfolio of recent wordpress website design and development work is essential when applying for this role, without it, we can not gauge your level of experience or design knowledge without it. Please submit your portfolio when applying., * Proven experience designing and developing websites in WordPress with Elementor and Shopify
- Strong working knowledge of cPanel, DNS, email hosting, and basic server configuration
- Confident troubleshooting website issues (plugin conflicts, malware, slow loading, etc.)
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic PHP
- Familiar with staging environments and site migration processes
- Comfortable managing client accounts, timelines, and expectations
- Able to work on-site at our Dawlish office, 4 days per week
- Highly organised, self-driven, and able to manage multiple projects at once
