Job description
As a Cloud DevOps Engineer at CloudAstro, you are a core part of our cloud operations team. You take responsibility for building, automating, and operating reliable cloud platforms that scale securely and predictably in production. You work closely with development and IT teams to improve deployment workflows, platform stability, and day-to-day cloud operations., Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles to ensure consistency, scalability, and repeatability

CI/CD Pipeline: Build, operate, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and automation to reduce manual effort and enable reliable deployments.

Cloud Operations: Operate, monitor, and optimize cloud environments across platforms such as Azure, AWS, Open Telekom Cloud, or comparable providers.

Monitoring and Logging: Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack, CloudWatch) to ensure system health and performance.

Security & Stability: Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and vulnerability assessments.

Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and IT teams to ensure smooth code integration, testing, and deployment processes.

Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures., * Projects in regulated industries such as healthcare, banking, and security

Requirements
Do you have experience in Terraform?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role.
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IAC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
