Senior DevOps Engineer

As a Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/x) at SysEleven, you build and deliver APIs for the operation and automation of our as-a-Service products, such as Databases. You automate processes using Infrastructure as Code and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure scalable, secure infrastructures. With GitOps and Kubernetes orchestration, you minimize operational effort and enable reliable deployments that drive our customers' success. You foster a culture of continuous learning and problem-solving to tackle complex challenges and shape the future of our services.

Your tasks

• Develop and maintain our Database and Observability as a Service products
• Manage container-based applications within Kubernetes with a strong focus on security
• Apply GitOps principles using Helm and Argo CD
• Develop API services and tooling in Go to provide Software as a Service
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment workflows
• Design and maintain scalable infrastructures using IaC tools (Terraform) in cloud environments

You'll be involved in daily operations, ongoing development, and have the opportunity to introduce your own ideas for new SaaS products as we expand our portfolio.

Do you have experience in Terraform?, * Experience with Linux and Kubernetes in production environments, as well as with GitOps tools

• Hands-on experience developing in Go (experience with Python or Rust is a plus)
• Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or OpenTofu
• Familiarity with CI systems, especially GitLab CI
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and the Grafana stack, as well as with OS image building (VMs, bare metal, or containers)
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, plus proficiency in German and/or English at a B2 level

You'll work hands-on with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools, directly impacting our customers' success.
