Solution Architect - Azure & Data Platforms Spain (Hybrid) | Madrid or Barcelona - 1 day per week onsite Up to €70,000 + package I'm supporting a leading European Financial Services organisation as they continue to modernise their cloud and data platforms across Europe. This is a hands-on Solution Architect role, sitting close to engineering and delivery, not an ivory-tower architecture position. What you'll be doing * Designing Azure-first solutions across data and integration platforms (Databricks, Data Lake, Event Hub, Functions, APIs). * Leading the transition from legacy services to cloud-native architectures. * Acting as the bridge between architecture and engineering to ensure designs are practical, scalable, and deliverable. * Owning solution design and technical governance across multiple product teams. What we're looking for *

Strong experience with Azure Cloud (Databricks or similar data platforms highly desirable). * Background in data, microservices, or event-driven architectures. * Solid understanding of .NET / .NET Core - you don't need to code daily, but you must be able to engage credibly with engineers. * Fluent English required (German is a bonus, not a must).
