Job description

Reporting to the Manager, Product development, as a Lead Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in the technical evolution of the Nautilus Laboratory Informatics Platform with the great opportunity of ownership to maintain stability and security. This role provides an outstanding opportunity to successfully implement innovative technologies while ensuring that we meet our customers' ambitious needs for scalability, performance, and compliance., * Involved in all phases of the software development cycle, from building to implementation and unit testing.

  • Collaborate with team members to deliver flawless software products according to schedules and specifications.
  • Build essential documentation such as specifications, architecture diagrams, and design documents.
  • Actively engage in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, planning, and review meetings.
  • Address and fix support calls promptly.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Unit testing?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience

  • Proficiency in Agile development methodologies (Scrum)
  • 5-7 years of experience developing technical specifications based on customer requirements
  • Proficiency in .NET (C#) is a must.
  • Knowledge of Oracle and PL/SQL
  • Familiarity with code version control tools (preferably Git)
  • Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in Spanish and English
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality work under time-sensitive conditions

Preferred skills:

  • Ideally 2-4 years of experience on people management.
  • Knowledge of C++
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and SharePoint
  • Familiarity with writing code alongside automated tests, * Visionary yet practical, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to balance immediate priorities with long-term goals.
  • Collaborative and proactive in elevating team technical maturity.
