Job description
As a UX Designer, you'll use your experience to make sure our service offering is fit for purpose, and puts the customer at the heart of what we do. We want to make sure our user experience is accessible, straightforward, and meets the rules and regulations set out by the FCA for regulated firms.
A day in the life of our UX Designer will involve:
- Planning and execution of designs which help our organisation develop products and services that are right for our customers
- Designing the look & feel, focusing on beautiful layouts with intuitive usability
- Supporting to bring to life the vision and strategies of the brands we own and work with
- Creatively steering projects from initial concept through to delivery
- Delivering exceptional creative thinking and executional design skill within projects
- Using a range of tools and skills to gather insight, understand users and test design ideas
- Applying knowledge of our regulatory and commercial environment to ensure we're delivering products that are compliant and appropriate
Requirements
Do you have experience in UX?, * Comprehensive Digital Design Expertise: Strong practical knowledge of end-to-end digital design processes, including responsive design for multiple devices. Solid understanding of accessibility standards and associated tools.
- Tools, Systems, and Methodologies: Up-to-date knowledge of design and prototyping tools, design systems, and agile methodologies, including their benefits, risks, and applications.
- Technical and User-Centric Foundations: Understanding of front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and user-centred design techniques. Awareness of differential user needs and research methods that inform digital product design.
- Data, Testing, and Analytics: Knowledge of data analytics, tracking techniques, and the use of A/B and multivariate testing to optimise user experiences.
- Commercial, Regulatory, and Industry Insight: Strong grasp of business realities, financial services industry, consumer lending products, and associated legal/regulatory frameworks. Understanding of conduct rules, compliance requirements, and the broader regulatory environment.
