Job description
This is a dual-purpose role combining business administration with maintenance coordination. You will play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office while also supporting the coordination of repairs, maintenance and contractor activity across our housing stock., Business Support / Administration
- Manage day-to-day office operations to ensure a well-organised and efficient working environment
- Carry out clerical duties including filing, data entry, record keeping and document management
- Maintain accurate records and databases to support business and compliance requirements
- Handle phone calls and emails professionally, responding to enquiries from tenants, contractors and suppliers
- Assist with preparing reports, spreadsheets, and presentations for management
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and diaries, including preparing agendas and materials
- Provide general administrative support to teams to improve efficiency and service delivery
Maintenance Coordination
- Log, track, and follow up maintenance and repair requests
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure works are scheduled and completed
- Monitor progress of repairs and ensure updates are communicated clearly
- Maintain accurate maintenance records to support audit and compliance requirements
Requirements
Do you have experience in Typing?, The role suits someone who is highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced housing environment., * Strong administrative and clerical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
- Confident and professional phone manner and written communication skills
- Comfortable using office software systems and databases
- Previous experience in an administrative, office support, or housing-related role is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
