DIRECT EMPLOYMENT NOT AGENCY -We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join the Engineering Team at our sheet metal manufacturing company in Brownhills, West Midlands. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Engineer to join a fast paced, growing Engineering company.
Requirements
Do you have experience in SolidWorks?, As a Sheet Metal Design Engineer you will be required to have a proven track record in the development and design of sheet metal enclosures, copper bus bars systems and associated equipment. Part of the role would also be to support production during the manufacturing process so a good knowledge of fabrication would be beneficial. Experience in Radan, Autocad, Solidworks and CNC Programming would also be beneficial
Key Experience
- Experience with Switchboard & MCC Design and Manufacture.
- Mechanical Design engineer with around 5 years of experience in design and manufacturing.
- Preparing General Arrangement drawings of bespoke products.
- Experience in CNC programming.
- Experience in Autocad, Radan and Inventor.
- Experience in nesting and elaboration of programs for CNC machinery.
- Attention to detail and enthusiasm would be an advantage in this role.
- Good communication skills with both peers and customers., * Design Engineering: 5 years (preferred)

Hours Of Work
Core working hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am - 16:00pm, overtime is required as and when to meet production needs.
