Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Program Manager - AMS to lead and oversee end-to-end application support and service delivery for our enterprise clients. In this role, you will be responsible for managing large-scale AMS programs, ensuring SLAs are met, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality IT services. We offer you not only a learning environment with modern "on-demand" learning methods in which you can deepen your knowledge, but you will get to apply those learnings in real-time., As the one face to the customer, you will take along various service lines, giving guidance to the relevant delivery heads on the staffing needs, commercials, availabilities and the interests of the service lines even as you try to build synergies amongst them to craft efficient, lean and quality solutions for your customers.

  • Oversee the delivery of SAP AMS, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
  • Maintain service quality and availability in adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
  • Manage day-to-day operations for system reliability and collaborate with technical teams to resolve issues promptly.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding SAP AMS services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships through regular performance reviews and feedback collection.
  • Coordinate stakeholder meetings to strengthen client partnerships.
  • Identify opportunities for system improvements and enhancements to optimize client business operations.
  • Recommend and implement best practices to improve service delivery, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
  • Monitor and manage team performance, providing guidance and implementing performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Relevant Service Delivery experience in Managed Services for SAP systems (S4HANA and/or ECC) functional and/or subject matter expertise can supplement for years of direct SDM experience
  • Experience in a people management role, leadership
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong acumen to understand the business needs and ability to manage services in a very dynamic environment
  • Knowledge and experience with SLA's, OLA's, and Contracts in insourced or outsourced environments.
  • Good understanding of SAP ERP, functional and/or technical SAP application knowledge.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, their impact on business strategies, and SAP's strategy and service portfolio.
  • Ideally have SAP S4HANA, IT Service Management, Project Management certifications
  • Knowledge and experience with Agile and Lean process methodology preferred, * ITIL certification or experience in ITIL-based service management.
  • Experience with SAP Solution Manager or other service management tools.
  • PMP or other project management certifications.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based SAP solutions (e.g., SAP Cloud Platform).
