SAP FICO Consultant

As a key member of the Finance tower, you will be responsible for working on a variety of support related issues, and small projects, as well as coordinating work with various customer stakeholders (both Business and IT stakeholders). This is a very customer focused, hands-on role where the team are expected to work on customer issues and developments, as well as collaborating with other functional and technical consultants - both within the dedicated Jazz team, and across the wider NDBS Managed Services organization. This role will be remote, although there may be future opportunities for occasional travel to customer sites (predominately in Europe). The ideal candidate will have a background in providing support on S4 Hana for SAP Finance modules, with exposure to:

• Product costing
• FI GL
• AP, AR & AA
• Bank Accounting
• Tax You will also have demonstrable skills in managing multiple stakeholders through a mix of communication methods. You will act as one of the ambassadors for the NDBS FI team, providing the customer team with a contact point for operational issues and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a high level of 2nd & 3rd line advisory and consultative support to the

customer stakeholder community

• Own Product costing , FI GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, Tax and CO related issues

and developments on behalf of the customer, and manage these through the service

lifecycle with own team.

• Knowledge for (Universal Journal, Material Ledger, Fiori apps)

• Establish and maintain a good working knowledge of Jazz IT Service Management

processes and governance requirements

• Analyse, configure and implement appropriate solutions with the support of the

Functional and Development Consultants when applicable

• Ability to perform peer reviews of proposed and delivered solutions.
• Strong communicator; work closely with Jazz and internal NDBS stakeholders,

keeping all parties up-to-date with progress of key deliverables and key metrics.

• Problem solving: use own initiative to identify and implement solutions and

• Knowledge and understanding for Universal Journal, Material Ledger, Fiori apps
• Knowledge and understanding of Product Costing and Finance modules.
• Experienced in providing support for Month-End/Year-End Closing in S4 HANA,

ensuring seamless financial consolidations and reporting.

• Demonstrable skills to design, configure and test specific core functional modules
• High level of verbal and written communication skills in English
• Documentation skills:- including producing and maintaining functional

specifications, test scripts, business process instructions and understanding the

importance of version control

• A strong ability to understand business processes and design appropriate solutions.
• Ability to learn and adapt business change process.
• Demonstrable experience of maintaining technical knowledge / learning new skills.
• Proven experience of acting as liaison point with clients for troubleshooting:- ie

strong skills in investigation, analysis, and problem solving.

• Proven ability to work with customers to provide robust end-to-end business

solutions.

• A good understanding of GxP requirements and the importance of adhering to

defined control processes

• Travel is expected to be no more than 5%
