Software engineer

We're looking for a technically skilled professional who thrives in autonomous roles across multi-client and multiplatform environments. You'll be expected to deliver both high- and low-level solutions, adapt quickly to change, and continuously seek opportunities to learn and grow., Linux Environment:

• Develop scripts to automate tasks and improve operational efficiency.

• Manage processes using Micro Focus (ESCWA): execution, monitoring, and error resolution.

• Prepare technical and operational reports.

• Propose innovative and effective technical solutions.

• Work independently in dynamic environments with high dedication and flexibility. Host (Mainframe) Environment:

• Develop and maintain applications using COBOL, CICS, SQL DB2, MQ, JCL, and STCs.

• Debug and analyze processes to ensure optimal performance.

• Utilize tools such as REXX, SORT, DB2 utilities, and SFTP.

• Execute and monitor processes via Control-M.

• Manage version control and traceability using ALM.

• At least 3 years of experience working in application analysis and development (not limited to system administration). Preferred Java, C, C++, Phyton, scripting, micro focus *Ability to work in demanding technical environments with diverse technologies. *Problem-solving mindset with initiative to propose improvements. *Strong interest in continuous learning and collaborative teamwork. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience *Develop and maintain applications using COBOL, CICS, SQL DB2, MQ, JCL, and STCs.
