Join Alan in building Mo, an intelligent medical companion that prescribes, triages, and follows up health issues for members worldwide. Alan's mission is to help people live healthy lives to 100 by turning health benefits into valuable investments for employers while building a vertically integrated health partner that unites insurance and smart delivery. About the Mo team We're building Mo, a multimodal LLM-based conversational AI assistant. It can prescribe, triage, and proactively follow up on care via chat, voice, or video. We are scaling this product to serve millions of members. Responsibilities
Build the most memorable chatting experience for Mo, ensuring fast, snappy, and delightful interactions. Scale Mo's systems to support 100x more users, improving latency, error rate, and recovery. Integrate Mo with Alan's services (digital chat, provider maps, prevention programmes, etc.) to increase member value. Extend the architecture to support Mo's next chapters, adding new context, skills, and multi-country support.
Requirements
Product engineers with 3+ years of experience, passionate about AI and high-stakes healthcare problems. Experience with LLMs, multi-agent architectures, or human-in-the-loop learning. Ability to implement new capabilities for Mo across engineering, data, and medical expertise. Strong influence on system architecture and code quality. Mentoring experience and contributor to engineering culture. Background in software engineering and systems architecture, especially back-end. Fluent English; French not required.
