Senior Software Architect

The Senior Software Architect works in external projects with the goal to deliver high quality technical solutions that meet the client's needs and business vision. The Senior Software Architect designs high-level architecture and defines architectural patterns and development standards for the development team to follow and performs a quality assurance role on development.

• Problem Solving: Address technical challenges and provide innovative solutions to complex problems
• System Design: Leveraging technical knowledge, you develop blueprints for solutions, including workflow diagrams, system architectures, and mockups, ensuring they fulfil user needs and are technically feasible
• Collaboration with Teams: you closely collaborate with developers, QA teams, and project managers to guarantee that proposed solutions are implemented accurately and on time
• Planning & Organization: Planning, tracking and scheduling software deliverables
• Software Quality Control: Software resting, verification and validation
• Gathering and Analysing Requirements: You work directly with external stakeholders to grasp business goals and convert them into actionable functional and technical designs and solutions
• Create, design and own solutions: You are eager to solve business problems with software solutions. You quickly understand business problems, design solutions and are able to realize them together with your team.

• Bachelor's/Master degree in IT (or related) field

• 8 years relevant experience in software development and coding

• You have excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
• You are an expert in at least one major technology stack, and able to work in multiple different stacks. Our projects vary from Java SpringBoot running on AWS to Python running on Azure to Databricks. You are willing to learn new technologies quickly
• You are enthusiastic about technology with a commitment to staying abreast of the latest technological trends and advancements
• You identify and translate a client's needs and business vision into a fitting technical solution
• Your stakeholder management is excellent. You easily work with the client's stakeholders, supporting them in identifying and aligning on what is required to take the next step in the project
• Your communication skills are excellent. You communicate the architectural design and technical solution with the client and the team and set clear goals to work towards
• You have a hands-on mentality and you are comfortable in fast paced environment
• You are pro-active and result driven
• Your communication skills in English are excellent (Dutch is plus)
