Job description
As an Integration and Automation Engineer, you'll be the technical powerhouse behind ourclient projects. Your responsibility will be to design, build, and maintain integrations that enableenterprise systems to communicate efficiently, securely, and at scale. You'll also collaborate withmultiple stakeholders to streamline and automate business processes. As part of i8c and CBX, you'll join Belgium's leading integration experts. Recognized asBelgium's #1 Best Workplace 2025., Your primary focus will be designing and implementing robust integration solutions, but your roleextends beyond coding. You will also work closely with business stakeholders to align onprocess requirements and design business automation solutions.
- Design, develop, and test complex integration scenarios using leading iPaaS platforms andresilient integration patterns.
- Model and optimize business processes, working with business analysts to translaterequirements into automated workflows
- Lead integration-centered projects and architectures, including API Management, DataIntegration, Application Integration, EDA, and B2B Integration.
- Work with a diverse range of clients, including public sector organizations and internationalenterprises. Always taking a pragmatic approach.
- Grow as an expert by focusing on knowledge, absorbing the experience from peers, andactively contributing to the i8c community.
Requirements
- Problem-solving mindset with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with leading integration/iPaaS platforms (Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of APIs (REST, SOAP, GraphQL, etc.), messaging technologies (JMS,AMQP, Kafka, etc.), and other integration patterns.
- Track record integrating large enterprise IT systems (SAP, Dynamics, NetSuite, Salesforce,etc.)
- Experience in one or more cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Nice to have:
- Experience with Kubernetes and DevOps Technologies
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience in business process modeling and automation
- Fluent in English. ( Dutch and/or French is a plus)
