Your Role in the team: This role is all about Kubernetes (K8s) where a DevOps mind and experience is going to be paramount. You will get involved in the design, setup and management of our K8s clusters across various datacentres. We are building a value-add on-prem, bare-metal K8s platform (with the option to expand into the cloud when the use cases arise) which will cater to a wide range workloads with different resource demands, ranging from latency sensitive, fast paced algo trading to big data analytics, middle and back-office applications as well as client and exchange gateways. What will you do?
- Close collaboration with our datacentre infrastructure and network engineers and will also overlap with the monitoring and observability domain.
- Working in a DevOps approach that involves concepts of code review, automated testing and release pipelines
- Work in an environment that is protected by PAM (Privileged Access Management)
Requirements
- UNIX / Linux (Ubuntu & Red Hat)
- K8s (must; administration as well as best-practise for usage), Calico Enterprise (desirable)
- Networking, in particular TCP/IP in general as well as understanding routes, routing tables, VLAN / VRF concepts, BGP
- Bash, Python, Ansible, Terraform, Helm and Git
- Accustomed to working in a DevOps approach that involves concepts of code review, automated testing and release pipelines
- Accustomed to work in an environment that is protected by PAM (Privileged Access Management)
