Job description
You will join the Analysis and Contextual Experience team, which is responsible for the autofill engine and proactive security features at the core of the in-browser product experience. Our goal is to improve the online browsing experience of our users, leveraging cutting-edge technology to help them access services more quickly and easily while keeping them safer online. This encompasses ML-based webpage analysis for autofill and phishing detection, as well as in-browser nudges and alerts that guide the user to stronger credential security habits. As a backend engineer you will collaborate closely with frontend engineers developing our web extension, other backend engineers and security engineers to deliver new features to our users while complying with our security commitments. Using confidential computing and post-quantum cryptography will be part of your scope. Note that you do not need to be expert on these topics, as you will get support to learn on the job., + Backend: NodeJS, Typescript
- Frontend / internal tooling: React, Typescript
- Infrastructure and storage layer: AWS EC2, AWS Nitro (confidential computing), Amazon ECS, MySQL on RDS, Redis, S3
- CI/CD: Gitlab, Sonarqube, Terraform
- Logging and monitoring: ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)

Requirements
Do you have experience in TypeScript?, * 4+ years of experience in software development
- 3+ years of experience in developing backend applications
- Experience in Node.js and Typescript
- Experience in working with infrastructure on AWS
- Experience working in a product development team with agile practices
- Know how to code, but also to deploy, test, and monitor cloud applications
- Interested by quality and security of applications
- Fluent in English (as the team is international)
