DevOps / SRE Engineer

As a senior DevOps Engineer at GreenRoad, you will lead the evolution of our next-generation fleet safety platform by designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure. You'll drive best practices in CI/CD, automation, observability, and cloud operations while collaborating closely with engineering teams. You'll also support adjacent initiatives including system integrations, performance and cost optimization, and mentoring team members on DevOps methodologies and tooling., * Act as a leader in the DevOps/SRE areas.

• Implementation and support enforcement of best practices in version control, code quality, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

• Implement and even develop to enhance DevOps and SRE toolsets, focusing on reliability and observability.

• Maintain high security standards across infrastructure and deployments.

• Manage and monitor production systems for availability, performance, and security.

• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment, performance, and security issues using advanced monitoring and root cause analysis techniques.

• Stay current with emerging technologies, including AI-driven solutions, and recommend tools to improve efficiency.

If you're passionate about designing impactful, life-saving products, we'd love to have you join our team!, * SRE Skillset: Expertise in observability, monitoring, alerting, and incident response to ensure reliability and resilience. Experience with Exporters / OpenTelemetry (Linux and Windows).

• Cloud & Automation: Hands-on experience building and operating distributed systems in public cloud environments (AWS preferred), CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), and managing production systems.

• Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency with Terraform or similar tools.

• OS & Tech Stack: Experience in both Windows and Linux environments.

• Docker/k8s experience.

• AI Knowledge: Practical experience with AI for troubleshooting, research, and generating code/scripts to improve efficiency and solve complex problems.

• Programming & Scripting: Skilled in PowerShell, Python, Node.js, Bash, and Shell scripting.

• Additional Tools: Familiarity with Azure DevOps, New Relic, Coralogix, Redis, OpsGenie, RabbitMQ (Cloud AMQP).

• Databases: MS-SQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elastic.

• Other technologies: .NET (C#), REST APIs, powershell, bash/shell.

• Soft Skills: Fluent English, fast learner, independent, strong multitasking and communication skills, and a team player with a can-do attitude.
