The System Administrator will lead the ongoing technical support for the Power Platform team. This is a hands-on role, for an individual with a strong technical background and working knowledge of the Power Platform, and with a record of success in improving processes and controls.
Our Power Platform team is growing, and we are looking for someone to explore new opportunities to automate and improve our DevSecOps process.
The administrator will work closely with the Power Platform Product Team and other makers in the organisation, to ensure that all administrative activity is completed in adherence with our standards and agreed ways of always working. They will be responsible for the maintenance of DevSecOps practices, Testing and Release Management, as well as monitoring and performance operations.
- Using your knowledge of the Power Platform to complete all administrative activity when needed, to resolve specific issues with internal colleagues.
- Work with both technical and new users of the Power Platform to ensure adherence with the Platform Governance and Standards.
- Providing technical support, on Azure/M365, for the Power Platform team
- Manage Continuous integration and delivery of solutions with Pipelines
- Release management, including testing and security configurations for RBAC for end users
- Managing application monitoring and performance resources for the platform, Our Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow . Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process. You'll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
Requirements
- Experience in Administering Microsoft 365 services, ideally including Power Automate and Power Apps and Co-Pilot.
- Power Apps / Dataverse security capabilities, including Role based authorisation.
- Working experience in CI/CD, Git commands, Git source control, Azure DevOps
- Strong stakeholder management and good communication skills, able to present to all levels of Heathrow
- Capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines, handle and prioritise simultaneous requests and ability to prioritise your workload
- Power platform certification (PL 200 and/or PL 400)
Ideally, you'll also have:
- Experience with establishing and maintaining Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE)
- Experience of creating and controlling DLP Policies, including the use of custom connectors within PowerApps.
- Operated within a Continuous Improvement environment.
- Have a creative and analytical mind with strong problem-solving skills
- Have good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to assess the system and security impacts of new requirements on Microsoft Power Platform and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes
- Ability to manage laterally and upwards
