Job description
- Lead multi-disciplinary project teams delivering pump station and pumping infrastructure projects
- Manage projects throughout the full lifecycle, ensuring control of scope, cost, programme, and risk
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, forecasts, and risk registers
- Ensure full compliance with CDM 2015, maintaining all required documentation (PCI, CPPs, RAMS, H&S Files, etc.)
- Coordinate design, procurement, manufacturing, and site installation activities
- Conduct regular project reviews to monitor progress, performance, and compliance
- Produce and maintain senior-level project reporting
- Manage change control processes and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Support tendering activity with commercial, planning, and risk input
- Develop team capability through training, mentoring, and succession planning
- Implement robust resource planning, labour allocation, and forecasting processes
- Ensure processes and procedures are documented, improved, and consistently followed
- Drive cost-effective delivery, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability
- Work closely with sales and engineering to manage technical scopes and client requirements
- Promote continuous improvement in project delivery and operational excellence
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in Project management methodology?, You will be a confident, delivery-focused Project Manager with a strong engineering and mechanical background, comfortable operating in a Tier 1 supplier environment., * Proven experience managing engineering or construction projects within water, infrastructure, or mechanical sectors
- Experience delivering capital equipment projects
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (PRINCE2, APM, or similar)
- Working knowledge of NEC3 / NEC4 contracts
- Sound understanding of CDM 2015 regulations
- Ability to interpret technical scopes, specifications, and engineering requirements
- Proficient in MS Project or similar planning tools
- Engineering background or strong technical understanding
- Full UK driving licence

- Salary up to £55,000
- Office-based role with early finish on Fridays
- Working hours:
- Monday-Thursday: 08:00-16:30 (30-minute unpaid lunch)
- Friday: 08:00-13:30
