Front-end application developer

As we scale internationally and across brands, customer experience becomes a critical differentiator. We are therefore hiring a Front-End Application Developer with a focus on Smart Homes. You build the user-facing interfaces that power our next-generation smart home ecosystem across iOS, Android, web and desktop applications. You translate design and product vision into smooth, intuitive and reliable front-end experiences that let users control their entire home environment - anytime, anywhere. You'll work closely with UX designers, product managers, embedded and back-end engineers to create performant interfaces that connect seamlessly to cloud and embedded systems., * Integrate front-end applications with APIs and cloud services for device control, automation and data visualization.

• Work with our embedded and cloud engineers to optimize communication between devices and the user app (real-time updates, pairing flows, remote access).
• Ensure smooth multi-device consistency and adaptive layouts for phones, tablets, in-wall displays and browsers.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of build systems, CI/CD pipelines and testing practices.

Do you have experience in iOS?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.

• Proven experience building cross-platform or native apps for iOS and Android (React Native, Kotlin, Flutter or similar).
• Experience integrating applications with cloud backends and IoT/connected environments.
• Knowledge of home networking concepts (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth pairing, local discovery, cloud sync) is a plus.
• Experience in smart home, IoT or building automation domains is a nice-to-have.
• Familiarity with UX/UI principles and collaboration with design teams.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and app store deployment processes is a plus.
• Strong focus on code quality, performance and user experience.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Dutch is an asset.
