Technology Engineer Calculations - Engineered Solutions

What does a technology engineer calculations do at Atlas Copco Group? As a technology engineer calculations, you play a key role in translating customer needs into technically sound, compliant, and competitive engineered solutions. You will support the full path from proposal to delivery, ensuring that every solution is built on solid calculations, clear assessments, and international standards. In this role, you work closely with proposal engineers, project engineers and sales teams, while also contributing to the knowledge base of engineered solutions. You will report to the hiring manager of the Engineered Solutions team.

You will act as a technical expert for customized applications, evaluating feasibility, calculating machine and component performance, and identifying technical risks. You will collaborate across the compressor technique business area, sharing insights and best practices, and you will further develop the calculation tools and methodologies used to assess performance and compliance. You support colleagues with guidance on regulations such as ISO, API, PED, ASME, ATEX and the machine directive, and you translate these into actionable requirements for proposals and engineered designs.

You also take an active role in preparing and giving technical training, maintaining documentation and classification systems, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This role is based on-site or hybrid at the engineered solutions team, with cross-functional interactions across multiple departments.

Do you have experience in Visual Basic?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Master's degree in industrial or engineering sciences, or equivalent through experience.

• Experience in a technical or proposal environment.
• Knowledge of project management, technical products, and proposal processes.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, VB, Matlab
• Understanding safety processes, procedures and systems.
• Customer-oriented problem solver with a passion for technical challenges.
• Open to new ideas and continuous improvement having a growth mindset.
• Curious mind to explore new solutions including AI implementation and process improvements.
