UX Designer

In your position, you will play a pivotal role in continuing to establish, scale and maintain a comprehensive design system that fosters consistency, efficiency, and exceptional user experiences across the client's diverse range of dental products and digital platforms. This is a hands-on role, requiring deep involvement in both design and implementation, where you will actively create, refine, and maintain design components, templates, patterns and visual assets to be used across products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX designers, UX researchers, developers, and other stakeholders, to ensure the design system's success and continuous improvement.

Hands on Design System Development: Create components, templates, patterns, visual elements and guidelines to ensure consistency, scalability, and responsiveness across all products. Incorporate emerging trends in design systems, accessibility standards, and responsive design into your work.

Guidance and Assistance: Provide hands-on support to designers, developers, and product teams by conducting design reviews, offering actionable feedback, and addressing questions in shared communication channels.

Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner closely with UX designers, UX researchers, software developers, and other stakeholders to integrate the design system, ensuring consistent application across all projects.

Inquisitive and Insight-Driven: Ask critical questions to uncover key use cases and collaborate with user research to ensure data-driven decision-making while creating or updating the design system.

Innovation and Exploration: Stay at the forefront of design system advancements, emerging technologies, and industry trends. Proactively introduce innovative solutions into your designs to enhance user experiences and elevate the design system's impact.

Design System Advocacy and Knowledge Sharing: Help promote best practices and provide guidance on effectively using the design system. Share knowledge through documentation, presentations and onboarding sessions to ensure adoption and consistency.

Possibility to visit Zurich office once per week (mainly on Wed and flexible when needed)

Do you have experience in Typography?, Do you have a Master's degree?, Must have

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.

5+ years of experience in design systems, visual design, UI design for digital products, and UX design.

Strong portfolio of design system development and UI / UX design, showcasing the design process taken to arrive at the final solution.

Experience working with a global multi-disciplinary team of UX professionals, Product/Solution Managers and Architects/technical leads throughout the design process.

Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and user-centered design practices with high attention to detail.

Strong system-thinking skills with a focus on holistic design beyond component creation.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively across.

Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to lead complex projects and drive consensus.

Proficiency in Figma.

Business English fluency is a must.

Nice to have

Experience in B2B product design is advantageous.

Mastery of any other than English language
