Job description
We are looking for a motivated, hands-on, and student-centered Software Development Instructor (f/m/d) with a growth mindset to join our team.
If you love teaching modern web technologies, enjoy supporting learners with very different backgrounds, and like continuously improving how education is delivered, we want you on our team!
- Manage cohorts of students throughout their learning journey, providing structure, guidance, and motivation.
- Create and deliver engaging lessons, workshops, and live coding sessions.
- Resolve technical questions, blockers, and learning challenges in a supportive and solution-oriented way.
- Process student feedback and learning data to continuously improve teaching quality.
- Conduct code reviews, assessments, and one-on-one mentoring sessions to support individual growth.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Web development?, * Strong hands-on experience with modern full-stack web development, especially the MERN stack, TypeScript, and API-based architectures, including practical exposure to AI integrations in web applications.
- Proven ability to teach, mentor, and clearly communicate complex technical concepts to learners with diverse backgrounds.
- Fluent German (C1-C2 level, ideally native) and fluent English.
Other requirements:
- You have experience with C#, Java, or similar programming languages, which allows you to draw comparisons and explain concepts across different tech stacks.
- You demonstrate a solid understanding of professional software development workflows and can model clean, structured, and maintainable coding practices for learners.
- You bring empathy, structure, and a learner-focused approach, taking responsibility for student success.
- You show a strong willingness to continuously learn, grow, and improve both your technical skills and teaching methods while collaborating across instructional and program teams.
