Senior Frontend Engineer - React/Typescript

Join our dynamic team in Madrid and help shape the future of digital energy solutions. As part of Axpo's innovative IT center, you'll build cutting-edge web applications that drive the energy transformation forward. What you will do:

• Architect, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable frontends using React 18+ and TypeScript 5+
• Lead the development of new features from concept to deployment with full ownership
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to create exceptional user experiences
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using Jest and React Testing Library
• Integrate and manage APIs effectively using Axios and monitor application performance with Sentry
• Leverage AI-powered development tools like GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity and code quality

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience, with at least 3 years building complex React applications
• Solid experience with Jest and React Testing Library for comprehensive testing
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Ideally, fluency in German or other European languages alongside excellent English skills
