As part of our growing Security Advisory practice, we are looking for an Information Security Advisor to join our team in Barcelona. Your Responsibilities As an Information Security Advisor, you'll be a trusted partner to both central security teams and local business stakeholders. Your goal: ensure that security practices, tools, and policies are effectively understood, applied, and continuously improved. * Lead and contribute to threat modelling activities, identifying potential attack paths and helping

design secure architectures. * Support and advise engineering and product teams on cloud security best practices, with a strong focus on AWS environments. * Participate in security assessments and policy reviews, helping translate technical findings into actionable recommendations. * Collaborate on tool evaluation and integration (e.g. vulnerability management, monitoring, or compliance tools). * Provide guidance during incidents and contribute to post-incident analysis and prevention measures. * Act as a security ambassador, fostering awareness, knowledge sharing, and a proactive security culture across teams. Who You Are * You have between 4 and 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, ideally in advisory, governance, or technical security roles. * You have hands-on experience with Threat Modelling (e.g. STRIDE, DREAD, MITRE ATT&CK). * You understand AWS Cloud Security fundamentals (IAM, Security Hub, GuardDuty, SCPs, network segmentation...). * You are familiar with information security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, GDPR). * You have basic knowledge of secure coding and web application security principles. * You're proactive, analytical, and enjoy collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. * You are fluent in English (spoken and written); Spanish or French is a plus.
