Consult & Lead Advise on Data Architecture, Data Management, Data Warehousing, and the optimal use of Data Lakes and Data Lakehouses (e.g., Trino).
Design & Develop Build and evolve modern data platforms using technologies such as Hadoop, Exasol, Snowflake, and others.
Optimize Data Workflows Design, develop, and continuously improve data pipelines to ensure data is reliable, scalable, and ready for action.
Stay Ahead of Innovation Keep up with emerging trends and apply best practices in data engineering across projects.
Project Leadership Take on partial or full project management responsibilities, depending on your experience and career path.
Requirements
Strong Data Expertise A passion for data, with a solid understanding of Data Warehousing, Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh, and Data Fabric concepts-and knowing when to apply each.
Advanced Technical Skills
Extensive experience with open-source data technologies (Kafka, Hadoop ecosystem, etc.).
Proven ability to build real-time and batch data pipelines using tools such as Flink, Kafka, Spark, and dbt.
Programming Skills Proficiency in Java.
