Experienced Data Engineer / Data Scientist - Finance Analytics Backend Team

Within our "Corporate Services" platform and the "Enterprise Services" value stream you will work in the agile product team "Finance Analytics Backend". The product team is the central point of contact for the planning, development and operation of data models for the whole finance organization.

Tasks

• Development and optimization of complex, tailor-made data models to support company processes in the context of the international Finance organization
• Link between development processes and product owners at the operational level
• Development of scalable finance data models and structures with the help of modern development tools (including Google Cloud Platform, Big Query, Dataform)
• Drafting and detailing of automation solutions for the realization of process optimization potential
• Monitoring and continuous improvement of these solutions
• Partner with Product Owners and Finance stakeholders to translate business needs into reliable data products and analytics solutions.
• Cross-functional collaboration at the operational level to solve technical problems and refine working methods to continuously improve development processes

Do you have experience in Web services?, * Degree in IT or a business or technical environment, or an equivalent training / experience

• Experience in a data engineering / technology role ideally in agile product environments / teams
• 4+ years' experience applying modern development processes and frameworks across Cloud, Hybrid, and On-Premise environments
• In-depth experience with data modeling, Google Cloud Platform or comparable platforms, and SQL
• Know how in GitHub, Dataform, Terraform and Python desirable
• Passion for current trends in data modeling, software design, architecture / web services
• Good communication with peers, technical teams, and business representatives
• You are proactive, open, and a strong team player.
