Are you a driven and ambitious DevOps Engineer with a passion for automation, CI/CD, and state-of-the-art tooling? As a DevOps Engineer, you play a key role in enabling development teams to work efficiently by delivering stable, scalable, and automated build and deployment environments.
Your Responsibilities
· Select, implement, and manage cutting-edge DevOps tools and self-service solutions.
· Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines, primarily using Docker/ Kubernetes;
· Leverage cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design scalable, reliable, and efficient DevOps solutions;
· Set up and optimize virtual infrastructure, including hardware integrations, (sub)system onboarding, and hardware migrations.
· Manage containerized applications and microservices using Kubernetes, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability.
· Deliver end-to-end monitoring, logging, and data analytics solutions.
· Write and maintain robust Python code for test automation and scripting.
· Work closely with developers, testers, and other engineers to troubleshoot and resolve integration and deployment challenges. Be a sparring partner to your peers and stakeholders.
· Document processes, configurations, and procedures to ensure clarity and maintainability.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems or related field, · A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related technical field.
· 5+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, within the high-tech or embedded systems domain.
· Strong programming skills in Python, and proficient in C or C#.
· Solid experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated build environments.
· Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
· Practical knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
· Familiarity with access and identity management systems (RBAC en IAM) and Agile way of working.
· Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Puppet.
· You are a team player, solution-oriented, and proactive.
· Motivation to continuously improve yourself and develop new skills.
· A good command of English, and preferably Dutch language.

TOPIC Embedded Systems is a system developer with its office in Best. We develop embedded systems essential to many products manufactured by reputable high tech companies worldwide. These may include low level embedded software, but also application software, user interfaces, web or mobile applications or FPGAs. With our knowledge and expertise we carry out consultancy assignments, projects on site and at TOPIC’s own offices and we develop our own embedded products such as Miami, Florida and Dyplo. We often use these as part of the solution that we offer to our clients.
