The job We are looking for a motivated and eager DevOps Engineer to join our team. Although formally part of our Development Team, you will also frequently work for and with our Customer Success Team. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, upgrading and supporting our the growing number of UbiOps installations and the services and infrastructure it uses. Ranging from our own and partner hosted cloud installations to private customer installations in the cloud and on-premise. You have experience with working with (public) cloud providers such as GCP, AWS, MS Azure, but also able to work with on-premise environments. You are willing to learn and get thorough understanding of the UbiOps platform and the technologies it relies upon, such as Python, Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL, Django, Redis, Git, Helm, Ansible, etc. Using the experience you will gain of the installation process of UbiOps, you will become able to actively contribute to automating the installation processes. You like to interact with our customers, communicate clearly and deliver work of the highest quality. Your profile
- Completed education in IT/Server/System Administration or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with installing, configuring and maintaining cloud software (platforms)
- The ability to independently perform installation and configuration tasks
- Experience with Python. Golang is a bonus.
- Experience with cloud provider services (GCP, AWS or MS Azure)
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Helm and Ansible
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL) and memory data stores (Redis)
- Curious, resourceful and a quick learner. You enjoy experimenting and won't give up easily!
- Reliable and structured worker. You plan accurately and deliver work of the highest quality
- Strong communication and team-player abilities
- Professional proficiency in English and preferably Dutch
