Job description

We are looking for a versatile and motivated Frontend Developer to join our growing engineering team. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of high-performance web development and the fast-paced UK gambling industry.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining seamless user experiences across our core betting platforms and bespoke internal management tools. Our stack is predominantly Nuxt.js, but we also manage Next.js applications and WordPress integrations. You will play a key role in integrating our frontend code with multiple third-party providers while ensuring the code remains robust and scalable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Feature Development: Develop and maintain high-quality frontend applications using Nuxt.js, Next.js, and Vue/React.

  • Ecosystem Integration: Seamlessly integrate our frontend with various external/internal tools and software systems.

  • CMS Management: Support and enhance our WordPress sites, ensuring they align with our modern frontend architecture.

  • Performance Optimisation: Write clean, modular, and optimised frontend code to ensure fast load times and a smooth user journey-critical for customer retention.

  • Tooling & Dashboards: Refine our custom-built internal dashboard tools used for site management and data visualisation.

  • Data & Analytics: Work alongside marketing and product teams to implement and manage GTM (Google Tag Manager) and GA4 tracking to drive data-led decisions., This role will be predominantly office based in Newcastle upon Tyne (Blandford Square), with the remainder of time spent working from home.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Regulatory reporting?, * Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks, specifically Nuxt.js (highly preferred) or Next.js.

  • Web Fundamentals: A deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.

  • Industry Knowledge: Previous experience or a strong interest in the gambling/igaming sector is a massive plus.

  • Analytical Mindset: Familiarity with GA4 and GTM for tracking and conversion optimisation.

  • Problem Solver: Ability to navigate complex integrations with third-party APIs and providers.

  • Attention to Detail: A commitment to writing reusable code and maintaining high standards for UI/UX.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with headless CMS architectures.

  • Understanding of UKGC (UK Gambling Commission) compliance regarding frontend displays (e.g., timer displays, reality checks).

  • Experience with server deployment and development/production.
