Job description

We are seeking an Software Tester with a strong background in manual testing to join our dynamic QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software by designing, executing, and maintaining effective test plans and test cases. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure our applications meet the highest standards of quality and reliability., * Review and analyse business requirements, specifications, and technical documentation.

Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Execute functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and UAT testing.
Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
Work closely with developers to reproduce, debug, and resolve reported issues.
Validate bug fixes and ensure timely resolution before release.
Participate in test planning, estimation, and status reporting.
Ensure adherence to QA processes, best practices, and documentation standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is maintained throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members when needed.

Requirements

Do you have experience in User acceptance testing?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelors' degree in computer science or a related field is manadatory.

4+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing of web, mobile, or desktop applications.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
Experience in functional, regression, system, smoke, and UAT testing.
Proficiency in test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or HP ALM.
Good understanding of database testing (SQL queries for data validation).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.

Preferred Skills
