Solutions Architect

As a Solutions Architect at a leading Healthcare Organisation, you'll take a lead role in designing and delivering robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure and cloud solutions that are critical to supporting their technology and business goals. Focusing on hybrid and cloud-first environments, particularly Azure and on-premises integration, you'll define IT strategies, create technical roadmaps, and ensure successful project delivery.

My client is a Manchester based, leading Healthcare Organisation, looking for a highly competent Solutions Architect who can architect enterprise-scale hybrid cloud solutions, define IT strategy, and deliver business-critical infrastructure that truly matters.

What you'll be working with:

• Azure cloud-first architectures - design and deploy secure, scalable solutions
• Hybrid environments - Azure + on-premise (VMware, Exchange, networking, storage, SAN)
• Infrastructure as Code - PowerShell, Python, BICEP, ARM templates
• DevOps tooling - GitHub, Octopus Deploy, CI/CD pipelines
• Microsoft 365 ecosystem and security tooling

What you'll be doing:

• Leading end-to-end infrastructure design for complex, enterprise projects
• Presenting architectural roadmaps to Technical Design Authority
• Acting as SME for cloud, networking, compute, and storage infrastructure
• Automating deployments and driving innovation with emerging tech
• Managing and mentoring a technical team

• Proven Solutions Architect with hands-on hybrid cloud delivery experience
• Deep Azure expertise (IaC, BICEP, automated deployments)
• Strong on-prem knowledge (VMware, networking, firewalls, storage)
• PowerShell, BICEP, ARM scripting skills
• DevOps experience (GitHub, CI/CD)
• Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership abilities

Bonus points: Microsoft certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, M365 Admin, DevOps Engineer), TOGAF/BCS, * Powershell
