Design Engineer

A key member of the Design Engineering team, responsible for supporting the full product lifecyclefrom concept through to complianceby producing high-quality systems engineering documentation. Global and established manufacturer., * Analyse customer documentation to capture and define system requirements.

• Develop initial design documentation, including:

• Design specifications

• System architecture diagrams

• Project plans (development, verification, safety)

Collaborate cross-functionally to compile proposals and cost estimates.Generate Bills of Materials using the company ERP system.Produce design validation and compliance documentation:

• Factory Acceptance Test plans
• Design proving reports
• Final compliance matrices and qualification test reports

Coordinate environmental and EMC testing at certified facilities (some domestic travel may be required).Maintain adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, promoting a zero-harm culture.Liaise effectively with customers and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle. Core Requirements

• Degree in a technical discipline (HND with relevant experience may be considered).
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and ability to communicate technical concepts.
• Proficient in MS Office and project planning tools.
• Proven experience in systems engineering for small to medium-sized development projects.
• Familiarity with project management tools and techniques (e.g., Gantt charts).
