Job description

Design EngineerOverviewA key member of the Design Engineering team, responsible for supporting the full product lifecyclefrom concept through to complianceby producing high-quality systems engineering documentation. Global and established manufacturer., Key Responsibilities:Analyse customer documentation to capture and define system requirements.Develop initial design documentation, including:Design specificationsSystem architecture diagramsProject plans (development, verification, safety)Collaborate cross-functionally to compile proposals and cost estimates.Generate Bills of Materials using the company ERP system.Produce design validation and compliance documentation:Factory Acceptance Test plansDesign proving reportsFinal compliance matrices and qualification test reportsCoordinate environmental and EMC testing at certified facilities (some domestic travel may be required).Maintain adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, promoting a zero-harm culture.Liaise effectively with customers and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.Core Requirements:Degree in a technical discipline (HND with relevant experience may be considered).Strong understanding of engineering principles and, ability to communicate technical
