The Structured Finance and Bespoke Solutions Desk of Global Markets is looking for an additional colleague to join the team as Structurer - Financial Engineer

Main Activities

• Advising and structuring of bespoke structured solutions across asset classes for (U)HNWI and professional clients and provide specialized services and assistance also after a solution/product has been traded
• Actively support in the build-up and expansion of the bank's Structured Finance offering
• Interact with clients, Client Relationship Officers & Investment Counsellors, but also with colleagues from different internal departments (trading, legal, risk management, compliance, finance, tax, operations, credit, IT…) and build long lasting relationships with all the stakeholders
• Promote the Structured Finance and Bespoke Solutions offering within the bank's different locations, among internal stakeholders and among clients
• Help with the preparation of client marketing material, periodic follow ups and assessments, legal documentation, and also with the preparation of excel models for structuring, backtesting and stress tests

Do you have experience in VBA?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Master Degree in Finance, Business Administration or Financial Engineering.

• CFA, CAIA, FRM, PhD or other further education as an advantage
• Professional with 4+ years of experience in a similar position and very good knowledge of derivatives and structured products (especially non-flow products like Actively Managed Certificates, Leverage Certificates, credit derivatives…), as well as familiarity with traditional and alternative asset classes and with the Wealth Management world
• Flexible, able to work independently and to deliver under pressure, willing to go the extra mile and good team player. Entrepreneurial, independent and accountable.
• Strong communication skills, able to think laterally and to interact with counterparties with different backgrounds and levels of technical knowledge.
• Willing to travel within Switzerland and potentially abroad
• Good knowledge of Excel (including VBA). Python as an advantage.
• Fluent in English. Italian, French and German will be considered as a plus
